FORECLOSURE CLEANUP BUSINESS & THE FORECLOSURE FREEZE
Our real estate market is constantly changing, many times it is changing literally daily! With the latest foreclosure freeze, many foreclosure cleanup business owners are wondering how this will affect their business.
This actually will mean more work for the foreclosure cleanup "property preservation" industry. Banks MUST maintain all their properties, this just means that we will all be servicing these properties for much longer with our reoccurring lawn maintenance and winterization services.
In many areas of the US, the banks are receiving fines as much as $1000 per day on their foreclosure properties that are not being maintained. This can add up to literally thousands if the property remains in disarray for even a week and the banks just can not let this happen or much less afford this. This just magnifies the fact that this will be increase our business for the foreclosure cleanup industry.
Banks and Reo Foreclosure departments send out vendors to check if there potential upcoming foreclosure properties "better known as Pre-foreclosure properties" are vacant or still occupied, many times they are already vacant. From that point the banks are responsible for the up-keep on these properties and will be requiring their Reo vendors to be servicing these properties much, much longer.
We hope this helps many of you worried about the future of the foreclosure cleanup business. This industry will be around for a long, long time! Let's continue working hard and making this a great business to be in!!
